Group Therapy in Columbus, Ohio

Some things are easier to work on with people who are going through the same thing. Serving Youth Ohio runs four ongoing therapist-led groups at our Columbus office, with rolling enrollment so you do not have to wait for a new cycle to begin.

What this looks like

Groups are small and consistent, so members get to know each other. Sessions are structured around a skill or theme, with time for open discussion.

Your first session is a chance to observe; nobody is required to share before they are ready. Group members agree to confidentiality as a condition of participation.

Who this is for

  • Parents and caregivers who want practical support and peer perspective
  • Young adults navigating transition, identity, anxiety, or mood
  • Teens working on emotional regulation and peer connection
  • Middle schoolers building confidence and coping skills
  • Clients in individual therapy who want additional peer support

How this is covered

We are in-network with Molina Healthcare, Buckeye Health Plan, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, and CareSource. For clients covered by these Ohio Medicaid plans, services are typically provided at little to no out-of-pocket cost. Private pay is welcome, and a limited number of reduced-rate spots are available for clients experiencing financial hardship.
