Young Adult Group in Columbus, Ohio

Early adulthood asks a lot of people all at once: work, school, money, relationships, and figuring out who you are outside of the household you grew up in. Our Young Adult Group is a therapist-led space to build coping skills, emotional awareness, and connection during that pivotal stretch.

What this looks like

Sessions meet at our Columbus office on a recurring schedule with rolling enrollment. Each meeting centers on a theme — managing anxiety, setting boundaries, communicating in relationships, handling setbacks — followed by discussion where members apply it to what is actually happening in their week.

The group is intentionally small so members get to know one another. Nobody is required to share before they are ready, and everything discussed stays confidential as a condition of participation.

Who this is for

  • Young adults navigating school, work, or housing transitions
  • Anxiety, low mood, or stress that peers do not seem to understand
  • Difficulty with relationships, boundaries, or communication
  • Building independence and confidence after leaving home or care

How this is covered

We are in-network with Molina Healthcare, Buckeye Health Plan, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, and CareSource. For clients covered by these Ohio Medicaid plans, services are typically provided at little to no out-of-pocket cost. Private pay is welcome, and a limited number of reduced-rate spots are available for clients experiencing financial hardship.
