Buckeye Health Plan is the managing partner behind OhioRISE, Ohio's specialized behavioral health program for youth with complex needs. If a care coordinator, CANS assessor, or caseworker has told you your child qualifies for OhioRISE, the services available to you are broader than a standard Buckeye behavioral health benefit — including intensive care coordination and family stabilization work.
Serving Youth Ohio is an OhioRISE provider, and we work alongside your Care Management Entity rather than duplicating what they do.

The first question is almost always about cost. For Buckeye Ohio Medicaid members, outpatient behavioral health is generally covered in full, with no session limit that families run into in practice. The second question is about paperwork: we handle prior authorization and claims directly with Buckeye, and you will not be asked to submit anything to the plan yourself.
How to start

- A licensed clinician completes an intake assessment and recommends a starting level of care.
